There are several lakes within a few kilometres where you can swim in the summer

 On clear days from the look-out tower in Giersbach you can see a panoramic view of the Alps

In the very old town in Bad Säckingen you will also find the oldest covered wooden bridge in Europe

The Cavern Power station in Bad Säckingen is open every Wednesday afternoon from 2pm

Within walking distance from Bad Säckingen you can relax in a deer-park situated by a small lake

In Hasel  there are caves with stalactites and stalagmites 

The Museum of Native Culture is open on Sundays and bank holidays from April to November

The exceptional Museum of delightful discarded objects is open Sundays and Thursdays from 2pm to 7 pm.
